2009, here I am.

Every year, I have expectations  for the year to come.  This year was no different.

I have a sense of anticipation about 2009.  I believe that the course of history is going to be changed.  I’m not talking politics here.  I’m talking real life, real change.  I want to be part of a change in someone’s life.  God did not put me on earth to live a mediocre life.  I was born to be a world changer, a history maker.  To some, that may appear arrogant.  But guess what?  The same applies to you.  Noone was created for mediocrity.

What changes do I want to be a part of?  I’m glad you asked.

I want to fight human trafficking.  I want to raise awareness of this travesty…but I want to get my hands dirty.  I truly want to affect change in a woman or child’s life.  I want to see the people who have an appetite for small children punished.  I want justice for the victims.

I want to become the best employee I can be.  I want to be a sponge and learn as much about the dental industry as my 33 year old brain can absorb.  I want to make a difference and live up to my potential.

I want to learn to see myself as God sees me.  I want to learn to depend on Him.  I want to learn to depend on others.  I want to learn to love others.  I want to learn to be a better friend.

I don’t want to wake up on January 1, 2010 wondering where 2009 went.  I want to be sad that 2009 is over because it was such a wonderful year.

Am I allowed two blogs for what I want for the New Year?  I’d have to say the answer is yes as this is my blog 🙂
