Well, I gave my notice yesterday. Without going into too much detail, working for a start up is tough under good circumstances. With the credit crunch (we gave the banks $700 billion and they refuse to lend or let money move) it’s really tough to work for a start up. While I am a philanthropic person at heart, I just couldn’t work for free anymore.
I have accepted a job in a dental practice. I just can’t seem to stay away from dentistry 🙂 I guess it got in my blood. I’m still not 100% sure of what I’ll be doing…I know I’ll be working the front desk, doing admin work, researching insurance claims, and a bunch of other stuff. I’m really excited to start my new job. I’ve worked with the dentist before, and we work well together. I am thrilled at the prospect of stability.
So, starting January 5, I’ll be working in dental land again. I get to wear scrubs everyday. 🙂
