What to say, what to say…
This morning I read Tony Morgan’s blog and I had to smile. He was going through his blog feeds, and he asked where all the female bloggers are. I wanted to send him a message and scream “Here!!!!” but that felt a bit awkward.
Life is interesting, being alone in the office. Why is it that when the people who can answer the questions are out of town, the questions get asked. I had to coordinate a shipment that we are receiving (though I wasn’t told about it) on Tuesday. I had to walk 8-10 blocks to deliver a packet of information to a dentist. The upside is that I found what I consider the most amazing falafels EVER at Philly Falafel. If anyone wants to visit my new favorite place, let me know!
It is really quiet in the office. I got a lot of work done, and I kept myself plugged into music and podcasts all day. My computer doesn’t have speakers, so I had to utilize headphones. I held back the desire to spread my trash throughout all of the trash cans in the office to extend the visit of our building’s concierge as he empties our waste baskets. Good luck for me, though…the office across the hall’s heat is broken, so he was in our office trying to fix the problem. Tomorrow I’m going in early so that I can leave early.
Deep spiritual insight for the day? Today’s My Utmost for His Highest really touched me where I am. Oswald Chambers talked about how difficult it is to do the mundane when there is noone watching. If you have a chance, check out today’s devotional. Good stuff.
