Hello my friends.
I hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas/Hanukkah with their families.
Our Christmas was…great. I cooked for two days straight, something I loved nearly every minute of. My hands may take a bit to recover from being in and out of water so often…nothing a little Eucerin cream can’t help. My niece and nephews loved all of their presents. They were up at 1 AM, 3:30AM, 6:30 AM stalking their presents from Santa. My youngest nephew slept next to the tree after 1AM…wish I would’ve captures the moment on film.
Our family gathering was placid. We enjoyed ourselves and actually got along. Who says there’s no God? Only God could have brought that kind of peace to our holiday. I can’t recall a holiday that was so…nice.
I’m going to take a blogging hiatus until 2009. I have a few books that I need to read and review. This is going to be my last week off for a while as I start a new job on Jan 5, so I’m going to treat this time like a much-needed vacation.
After the new year, you’ll be able to find here and also blogging for a blog on human trafficking. You can find me there at http://traffickedhearts.wordpress.com. Please bookmark the site and visit often. We have a great group of people over there who are committed to combatting the most horrific human rights violations of our time. Check us out and spread the word.
Until 2009…
