Arson in Wasilla

I understand that there are people who dislike Sarah Palin.  I get it.  I’m not fond of the men that America elected as president and vice president.  We live in a land where freedom of speech is a right.  

I understand that there are some people who disagree with Christianity…especially “born-again”Christians.  We live in the US where we have freedom of religion, so you and I can practice whatever religion we want.

But burning down the church that Sarah Palin and her family attend?  You’ve messed with my Father’s house, and that is not right.  Did you realize that there were women in the church?  Did you consider that there might have been children in the church?  Or do you not care?

It will be interesting to see how the mainstream media covers this.  CNN reported on it.  I found the story on MSN.  

If it were a mosque or a synagogue, it would be considered a hate crime.  If someone attacked Barack Obama’s “former” church, the media would be all over it like white on rice.  People would be outraged.  Will our country be enraged by an Assembly of God church being torched in AK?  Or will the liberal media be apathetic?  In my opinion, we’ll find out the true heart (or lack thereof) of the media in the next 48 hours.  

Merry Christmas.  Jesus died for your sins.  When they were piercing his hands and feet with nails, He had your redemption on his mind.  He loves you.  He wants you to know that.  No matter how much you doubt him, hate him, ignore him, He still loves you unconditionally.  There is nothing that you can do that will stop him from loving you.  Nothing.  I pray that God would open the eyes of your understanding.  I pray that God would soften your heart.  I pray that one day you will bend your knee and confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.  Amen.
