50,000 Pairs of Shoes in 50 Days

Did you know that there are people in the world who’ve never had a pair of shoes?  This idea is foreign to most of us–at least the people reading my blog–because we have multiple pairs of shoes, and have probably for most of our lives.

I’ve recently connected with a group of people who want to make a difference in the lives of at least 50,000 people.  Our goal is to donate 50,000 pairs of shoes to 50,000 people in 50 days.  The cost for two pairs of shoes?  $5.00  Yes, you read that correct.  For TWO PAIRS OF SHOES.

How do you donate?  Head over to the 50,000 shoes website and donate $5.  After 50,000 pairs have been donated, one person (with a guest of their choosing) will be selected at random to deliver the shoes they purchased to someone in need on one of Soles4Souls’ trips to Mexico!
