snowflakes.jpgToday was a crazy day.  Here in the Northeast, we had a “winter storm.”  It snowed like heck.  It rained.  It was a great day inthe Northeast.  I was put in charge of making a call on whether or not to have our class today.  I voted no.  What I didn’t realize is that I was on a committee of three.  If I were on Survivor, I would have been voted off the island today.  We had the meeting.  I would never admit this, but I got to wake two people up…and it cracked me up.  You see, I have been up off and on since 3:45AM.  So, when I got to call them at 5:30, part of me….yeah.  Didn’t mind.  Is that wrong?

Anyway…I had a rough ride into work.  I almost ran over a crossing guard and some random dude who thought it was acceptable to walk in front of a car driving through snow and slush.  C’mon guy.  The laws of physics kind of indicate that you are about to be road pizza.  Fortunately, I didn’t hit him.

Our class was successful.  We had 19 people show up, which is more than I thought would show.  I really enjoy these classes because they are more laid back…but the doctors learn a lot.  This class had a rather high concentration of dental students.  Bright eyed, ambitious kids learning all that they can to get themselves a job to get out of the $200,000 – 300,000 student loan hole in which they find themselves.  In all seriousness, I truly enjoy my job.

Did I officially tell you that I got my promotion?  It’s official.  For now, I am split in half, doing my job on the branch level and attempting to do it on the national level as well.  OK…I’ve been so busy that I’ve not had time to do the national stuff yet.  Maybe tomorrow.  The new job is going to be a lot of work, but it is exciting.  So, if you don’t “hear” from me in blogland for a while, it’s probably because I’m working hard.  Or hardly working.  Just kidding.

If what I’ve written makes no sense, I am sorry.  I’m delirious.

Until next time….
