Thank YOU

Dear God,

Please forgive me for my discontentment. 

Thank you for air in my lungs and blood flowing through my veins this morning.  Thank you for loving me though I rejected You.  Thank you for not rejecting me when I finally came to you with a contrite heart.  Thank You for sending your Son to the cross to bear my sins, and the sins of the world.  Thank You for sending the Holy Spirit to be my Comfort.

Thank you for the wonderful family that You have given me.  Thank you for the job that You provided when I had nothing.  Thank you for the food in my stomach and the roof over my head.

Father, thank You for being who You are:  Abba Father, jehovah Jireh, Jehovah Rapha, Jehovah Nissi.  thank You for creating the heavens and the earth, the ocean and land, the plants and the animals, for creating man and woman, for creating me, in YOUR image.

God, no matter what, You are AWESOME.  I cannot imagine my life without You.  Please help me to remember that for the rest of the day.  Please help me to serve my boss humbly, knowing that You have placed me in his life for a reason; not to torture me or to torture him, but for some divinely, holy purpose.
