Isaac

Just wanted to give a quick update on my nephew Isaac.  Thanks for your prayers.  They are greatly appreciated. 

Today he had a doctor’s appointment.  His blood pressure is down, which is awesome.  He’s still feeling really crappy, which is not so awesome. 

Please pray that God will heal Him, and that through this process God will reveal Himself to Isaac and his parents.

I don’t know if I’ve told his story, but Isaac is a miracle kid.  He wasn’t a planned pregnancy.  My sister was pregnant when she graduated high school.  Our family was in a bad spot–lots of garbage going on.  My father was so angry that my sister was pregnant that he did not speak to her for about 9 months, except to tell her that she shouldn’t have the baby.  Isaac was born three weeks early, at a whopping 9 lbs 6 oz.  He was in neo-natal for a few days because he had jaundice.  When he was born, the umbilical cord was wrapped around his neck and they had to dislocate his shoulder to deliver him.  Needless to say, God has some amazing plans for him.  And as soon as my father saw him, he’s never advocated anyone have an abortion again.

So, if you can pray for my godson, I’d greatly appreciate it.  God has some amazing plans for this kid.  We’re storming the gates of heaven for him.
