It’s sneeting outside!

rittenhouse-square.jpg<—-I actually walked through Rittenhouse Square today in the snow, and that is what it really looks like in the snow.  Breathtaking.

So, friends, I’ve coined my own word.  Sneeting=snowing + sleeting.  I’m so innovative.  LOL.  Seriously, I didn’t think it was supposed to start precipitating until late this afternoon.  So, being the girl scout that I am, I completely forgot my hat and umbrella.  Brrrrrrr.  I am so happy that it was not windy.  And…the city looks lovely when it’s covered with snow.  The sidewalks are treacherous, but the city is beautiful.

Work today was good.  I learned quite a bit about my new company.  They really have some high goals.  I like that.  It always gives you something for which to strive.  I was a knucklehead, though.  I went out to get lunch for the two gentlemen for whom I work and a guest, and I forgot the drinks.  Duh…c’mon Deneen.  Really.  But, that won’t happen next time.  But all in all, I had a productive day.  And I’m learning something.  There are a whole bunch of dentists in Philadelphia.

Deep spiritual insight for the day:  If you start your day off with worship, the rest of the day will go more smoothly than if you don’t.

Not so deep insight for the day:  Not having to ride the bus to work also helps to make the rest of the day go more smoothly.  Adding espresso to the mix makes for a happy Deneen.

Oh.  I almost forgot.  I have officially been accepted to Liberty.  So soon you’ll find me at Barnes & Noble mostly every night after work.  And on my lunch hour.  After I get my laptop.  And after I get registered for classes.  I’m pretty excited.  But that means I have to cram all of my fun reading into the next few months.  ‘Cause I won’t have any time for pleasure reading.  That’s for sure.
