Today I read a blog from one of the people on the Compassion trip to the Dominican Republic.  It broke me.  One of the bloggers talked about meeting her sponsored child.  The child didn’t smile…she was so stuck in the mindset of poverty that she had no hope.  You can read that post here.  OHMYGOODNESS. 

Read the blogs of the bloggers who are on the trip here. Better yet, sponsor a kid here.  I’ve sponsored a kid since the Uganda bloggers went on their trip.  Peter, my kid, has blessed me beyond imagination.  I would love to visit him and his family one day.

Don’t make an emotional decision.  Dig deep.  These kids depend on you.  And your prayers.  And your letters.
