While we here in the US were glued to our televisions, our computers, our smart phones, anxiously anticipating, debating, pondering who would be elected the 44th president of the United States of America, there was a team of individuals visiting children in the Dominican Republic.  They had an opportunity to play with the children, see their smiles in the midst of poverty, hear their stories of hope in the midst of despair.
