Happy Reformation Day

Historically, the month of October has been difficult for me.  This October hasn’t been so tough.  I don’t know why.

God’s done some great stuff in me over the past week or so.  I made a decision to stand on what I believe.  I’m not going to change what I believe to suit the people I’m around.  I’ve listen and absorbed some great sermons over the past week.  I’m getting through The Reason for God.  I’m being challenged more than I have been in a long time.

Today we tried to go to the parade celebrating the Phillies’ win of the World Series.  I guess we’re not die hard fans because at the first sight of congestion, we turned around and headed home.  I promised my nephew that the next time the BoSox win that we’ll head up to Boston for a real parade 🙂

It’s time to gather my energy in preparation for the Trick-or-Treaters.  I suspect that there are going to be a lotta kids at the door tonight as it’s Friday.
