Bon Appetit-book review

If I had to describe Bon Appetit by Sandra Byrd in one word, it would be “delicious.”  That may sound a bit cliche for the title, but I literally ate this book up in one day.

The narrative and plot line were extremely engaging.  There is even a twist at the end that left me surprised.  Bon Appetit is a well-written, enjoyable read.  Perfect for an autumn afternoon or a beach read.

I am a pretty adventurous person.  I have always wanted to travel the globe to pursue my dreams.  I also love food–preparing the dish, serving the dish, savoring the dish, even cleaning up.

This book allowed me to live vicariously through Lexi Stuart as she moved her life from Seattle, WA to France to attend school to become a pastry chef.  I’m a not a Francophile by any stretch of the imagination, but, after reading this book, I want to visit France, if for no other reason, than to see the sights and smell the smells.

If you are looking for an enjoyable, light read, you should definitely pick up this book.  You can order it on Amazon

I also have a copy to give away.  Let me know if you want to read it by leaving me a comment!
