Unconditional love

With all of the talk of fear this week, I have to give a moment to talk about unconditional love.  The Bible says that perfect love casts out all fear.  The love the Bible refers to is the Father’s love.

Unfortunately, in this day and age, there is very little unconditional love.  I just don’t think that there is enough of it in the world today.  With divorce rates skyrocketing, both kids and adults find themselves unsure of whether someone loves them at a particular moment, let alone unconditionally.

One of my good friends is getting married next weekend.  I thought I would be able to make it, but I’m not.  Telling them that I could not attend the wedding was tough.  Really tough.  You know what I got in return?  Love.  Encouragement.  Sure, we’re all disappointed.  But because we love one another unconditionally, we move forward, our friendship unscathed.

Sure, I have a lot of fears (as you’ll read more about this week.)  But I’ve also been blessed.  Now I just have to learn to receive the unconditional love.  But that is a subject for another blog.

    There is another kind of unconditional love
    As well as God there is a love as your father has.
    I know without a shadow of doubt he loves me this way. He has always looked past the outter shell. Even when I feel so ugly fat whatever He radiates when we are together.
    He is always encouraging me.
    He is the same way with you girls and his grandchildren. He has the ability to see the best in you and encourage you.
    Some times he can overpower you with his fear for your well being. just like when I
    took this venture to come to Syracuse by myself. As always I have no fear God has my back.
    When I traveled here I prayed to arrive with out incident and arrive safely.
    I did arrive safely and when the screw fell out of the gear shifter five minutes later. Walt had it fixed for me and I was out driving today. Praise God
    But if I live in you fathers shadow of fear I could be paralyazed and never leave the house. I choose to believe in my Heavenly Father and know I am cradled in His palm under his wing. If God is for me who can be against? He will have Angels camped about me and my family we are protected.
    When you travel I have no fear.
    I pray that you will meet your soulmate soon. I pray that he will be as your father with the uncondital love for you.
    I also pray He has no fear and will trust the Lord with all His heart.
    You will not have to look for love it will find you. God ordained. What the Lord puts together no man can put assunder!!!

    I wasn’t ready to be anyones wife when I met your dad.
