Shhh….don’t tell anyone, but last night I went out in Philly.  A new friend invited me to his friend’s surprise party.  I had so much fun.  I intended to go for a while to show my face, but I found myself…I don’t know the word for which I am searching.  I sat with a nurse, an owner of an art gallery and an executive editor of a magazine.  I was also introduced to a professional photographer who is in the fashion industry.  Hello….what piece doesn’t fit in this puzzle.  Oh yeah…the girl who is an admin for a dental implant company 🙂  I love the way that God works.  He is hilarious. 

Speaking of God.  I met this guy who is a massage therapist.  As he was leaving, he came up to me and told me that it is good that I don’t compromise who I am.  He smiled a knowing smile and said that I know what he means.  I know exactly what he means.  I refuse to compromise who I am.  Sure, I’m not going to church on a weekly basis at the moment.  But I know Whose I am and I know that He is preparing me for whatever it is that He has for my future.  I know that all things work together for the good of those who love Him and who are called according to His purpose. 

So…I may have appeared to be the odd (wo)man out last night, but God is going to make it clear how I fit into the tapestry into which He has woven me.
