Monday ramble

The month of September was probably one of the busiest months I’ve had in a long, long time.  I worked every Saturday.  I worked at least one night every week.  And I was attempting to do school work.  Oh yeah…and I tried to get to a few little league games.

Today I woke up and I felt icky.  So I called out.  I know that there will be a pile of work tomorrow…new manager training in our office; hotel reservations for almost our whole company to make; wrap-up of training for the past two weeks to compile.

At the end of the month (or the beginning of the October, as today is the 1st) I find myself looking to simplify life.  I am going to step back and review things.  I will be away for the better part of the month, so I am going to really take stock of what is important in my life, where I need to be, where I want to be, and most importantly, where God wants me to be.  I think that it is time to take a step back in a few areas and time to make great strides forward in other areas.

I can’t wait to see what God has in store for the rest of 2007.  One quarter to go…anything can happen 🙂
