It’s funny how life works.  Seriously. 

Sunday I start housesitting for my grandmom.  She is going on a trip with her friend.  In exchange, I get to watch her dog.  Nice, huh?  I can’t wait to get away for a couple of days.  Hopefully I can pirate some internet access. 

I can not wait to get to CA for my friend’s wedding.  I need a vacation.  After the month of September, and before the month of Nov, I am going to need that week’s vacation. 

I’m lobbying for a promotion at work.  It’s funny…I think that people have mixed emotions about it.  They want it for me because they know that it’s best for me.  But they don’t want it for me because it’s not best for them.  If I get the job, I’m going to have to put some things on the back burner.  Like seminary.  In exchange, I’ll be travelling quite a bit and doing something that I love.  What a concept.  Love your job.  Who would’ve thunk it possible?

I am looking forward to going to CA for work in November as well.  We’re having a national meeting…and we’re going to have a blast.  I think I’ll be going out early to help get everything in order.  We’ll have to work smart so that we can have some fun at night 🙂  I may have too much fun.  Who knows…
