What a week

So, let’s take a look at how this week is going.

Saturday.  Bought a beautiful new car.

Sunday.  Drove all over creation, loving having my wheels.

Monday.  I can’t remember Monday.  Busy filling out application for work for ADA.

Tuesday.  Started off as an ok day.  Filled out more of the ADA application.  Went shopping for a lot of stuff for work.  Got a phone call.  Spent 5 hours in the ER.  Had to leave my friend there.  Got three hours of sleep.

Wednesday.  Went to work on time.  Heck.  Went in early.  Drank a lot of coffee before most people were awake.  Worked on the ADA application.  Got caught in a terrible rain storm.  Had to drive through a big puddle.  Broke out in a cold sweat.  Nearly wet my pants.  But I survived.  Then I went to the hospital to visit my friend.  And had to leave her there again.

I am emotionally exhausted.  I am leaning on God.  If it were not for Him, I don’t know that I would be able to sit here and write this.  But I find myself exhausted.

Why am I sitting here, writing, at nearly 11PM?  ‘Cause I’ve been caught up in a discussion about church history, theology, and a variety of topics that get my engine revving.

So, tomorrow I’ll be exhausted again.  But it’s all good.

  1. OK, so no more leaving me at the hospital 🙂 I simply can not begin to tell you how much it meant to have you there, praying, laughing, looking oh so concerned…love ya!
