Training and bus rides

Wow.  I just changed my email address and had to swap the information from one account to another.  That is probably one of the most tedious tasks in the world!  But–it is finished and now I don’t have to do it.  Whew.

So, today was my day of training.  I went in at 8:30 and left around 10:15.  Either I’m good or there wasn’t nearly as much information to disseminate as they expected.  I think that I’m going to like my job.  I have to train the new girl on Monday (yeah…my first day as well.)  That’s going to be interesting.  I’m not certain what I’ll be teaching her, aside from the code to the door, which key is which, and..yeah…I don’t know what else!

I did have a slight disappointment.  I’m getting a desktop instead of a laptop for work.  But on the upside, I’ll be the only person who can’t take work home.  Because they all have to transport their laptops back and forth to work everyday.  But I did get a huge company wall clock.  And a DVD that will teach me how to implant our implants.  Ewwww.

All in all, good day.

I even took the train and bus home from Philadelphia.  That should be interesting everyday.  The transfer from the train to the bus only requires that I walk across a street in Camden.  The characters on the bus though…wow.  We were going along without incident when, in Westville (not far from my house at all) there was an uprising.  Two girls didn’t get a transfer (and didn’t request said transfer) when they got on the bus.  Well, almost the entire bus started to harass the poor bus driver.  I couldn’t believe it.  I jumped off the bus at my stop and thanked the driver.  That is one job I wouldn’t want for all of the money in the world.
