I saw a man standing On the corner of Hope and Des…

I saw a man standing
On the corner of Hope and Desire
The road called Hope
All but abandoned
Littered with rubbish
Devoid of faith
The road called Desire
Lined by high aspirations
Charred by fire
Lit by a desolate candle

I saw a Man walking
Down the street called Hope
With each step
Reviving the landscape
Scattering the seeds of faith
Strolling up the street called Desire
Setting the buildings ablaze
Their size increasing
Solely with a glance

I saw the streets called Hope and Desire
Intertwined and intermingling
Vibrant and alive
Reinhabited
Visions of many ages and sizes renewed
A cool invigorating breeze
Fanning the flames of hope and desire
