Last night I was sobbing like a baby on my mom’s bed.  It was a deep and cleansing cry.  She kept telling me, “Deneen, God is in control.  God loves you…”  I told her, as I’ve said so many times to so many people, “The only reason I’m hanging on is because I know that God loves me and that God has a plan for my life.”

Like I said earlier today, the hurts are healing with more and more repentance. 

I read a post from Steve Furtick this morning that really hit me.  God called me at the age of 7 so that when the trials come, when the fire rains down instead of water, I know that I know that I know that this too shall pass.  Though the sorrow may last for a night, His joy comes in the morning.

God…yeah.  It’s an honor to serve You.
