Lost battle…

I’ve been fighting the good fight for the past two weeks. My family has passed around a cold that begins in the head and finds its way to the chest. I’ve dodged and ducked and disinfected and done everything short of throw them in a dishwasher. I woke up this morning, throat burning, neck swollen, nose snuffly. Last night my sister was complaining about how much she hates to be sick. I laughed at her and told her that I don’t know anyone who likes being sick. She asked me to let her whine, and I told her that because I don’t let her kids whine, I cannot accomodate her requests.

So…if I’m a little slow or nasely for the next few days, please understand. I’m not complaining. Just asking for a cup of grace.

Oh my dear friend, you may certainly have a cup of grace, in fact let’s super size it and add some chicken broth.
