About my blog and About me
This blog is my knee-jerk reaction to what is going on in my life. While I attempt to filter what is said, there are times that I am not successful, so enter at your own risk...and please don't take what you read personally. If you do, then you should probably not read this blog because it's never going to be full of happy walks through fields of daisies.
I grew up and currently live in the Delaware Valley. My heart is torn between Boston, London and Philadelphia, not necessarily in that order every day. I work in the dental field. While I am passionate about teeth, I am more passionate about God and what He's doing throughout the world. Teeth pay the bills, but my love for God wakes me up in the morning and puts me to sleep at night.
I write, tweet, facebook and check in on foursquare. I laugh, make people laugh and make people uncomfortable by saying what they, at times, refuse to face. I am passionate about helping people figure out who they are and find out what success is for them.
I could go on, but then why would you read my blog?

My heart’s cry
Today I was listening to a TD Jakes teaching. I heard a woman singing in the Spirit in the background. I want desperately to be where God is moving. Tangibly. I want to see people come into a living, vibrant relationship … Continue reading
Happy Easter
The eggs have been found. The candy baskets devoured. The ham is prepared. The manicotti are baking. The cheese and crackers are gloriously displayed on the table. The salad awaits dressing. The question burning deep within my spirit is this: … Continue reading
Passionate
I realized something recently. It should have been apparent throughout my life, and I suppose that it has been apparent, but I can put words to it. I am passionate about God. I love people, because He loves people. I … Continue reading
Thailand? Any takers?
Does anyone know of any dentists who would like to learn how to place dental implants into patients and who would like to travel to Phuket, Thailand and Seoul, South Korea in April? If I can recruit 10 dentists, I … Continue reading
Ice, perspective and seminary
Looking out the window, the world looks so beautiful. Everything is so shiny…the light reflecting off of the trees would make a breathtaking photo. But, the reality of it is that when you step outside the door, NJ is a … Continue reading
Googled, evolving amoeba and community
Wow. Someone googled me. And found my blog. I don’t know that I’ve ever been googled before. And when did “googled” become a verb? Inquiring minds want to know. I think I may be a bit uncomfortable with that. Maybe … Continue reading
Changing chapters
Today I find myself plowing through Earl Creps’ Off Road Disciplines. The first half of the book is the personal disciplines section…just what the Doctor ordered. He raises many questions that have been running through my head…questions that I didn’t … Continue reading
You gotta have faith…right?
For so long, I have wrestled between two camps when it comes to my faith. I desire for faith to be a black and white issue. If you have faith, then xyz. If not, abc. I would love a clear-cut … Continue reading
A gauntlet thrown
For the past few days, I’ve been edgy. Really edgy. Last night my friend Colleen and I went to dinner, and afterward, we sat in the car, unable to put into words the palpable tension we were experiencing. There are … Continue reading
Lunch
I’ve been looking forward to this day all week. Not because I work a 9-5 and am looking forward to the weekend. Because we’re giving lunch away today…a good lunch…to the police officers in Voorhees. It’s going to be awesome…I … Continue reading
