About my blog and About me
This blog is my knee-jerk reaction to what is going on in my life. While I attempt to filter what is said, there are times that I am not successful, so enter at your own risk...and please don't take what you read personally. If you do, then you should probably not read this blog because it's never going to be full of happy walks through fields of daisies.
I grew up and currently live in the Delaware Valley. My heart is torn between Boston, London and Philadelphia, not necessarily in that order every day. I work in the dental field. While I am passionate about teeth, I am more passionate about God and what He's doing throughout the world. Teeth pay the bills, but my love for God wakes me up in the morning and puts me to sleep at night.
I write, tweet, facebook and check in on foursquare. I laugh, make people laugh and make people uncomfortable by saying what they, at times, refuse to face. I am passionate about helping people figure out who they are and find out what success is for them.
I could go on, but then why would you read my blog?

tee ball
Tonight was my youngest nephew’s first t-ball practice. Ohmygoooooodness. How stinking cute. They can’t catch. They have no aim. They have a collected attention span of 30 seconds. But they have heart. Their first game is next Saturday–I can’t wait … Continue reading
Kids
I love living with my niece and nephews. I love their energy. I love that there are new experiences everyday in their lives. I love the sound of them laughing hysterically at something that, to adult eyes, seems not worthy … Continue reading
Lessons learned in a pediatricians’ office
My niece is sick, so Denette and I took her to the doctor’s office. Her original appointment was for 9PM, but we were called and asked to come in an hour early. So, we went in at 8, and were … Continue reading
Quotable family moments in the past few days.
I love my family. Seriously I do. This morning Nick and I had a conversation about God. “What does He look like, Neen-Neen?” “Well, Nick, I don’t know. The only person whose seen God face to face is Moses.” “You … Continue reading
Terrific Kid
Today my niece Isabella got an award from the Kiwanis Club in Woodbury. (She’s the one in the front of the picture.) She was named one of her school’s Terrific Kids. The Kiwanis honor two children from each grade who … Continue reading
Happy Birthday Mom!
Today is my mom’s birthday. Just wanted to say Happy Birthday Mom! And say a few words. You are a blessing to me. I don’t know what I would do without you…in our best times and our worst times. You … Continue reading
Lessons learned by the Grinch
Well, tonight was my first Sanctuary Christmas party. I learned a few valuable lessons that will not leave my memory for a long time, and I have some thoughts about life in general that I think it’s time to divulge. … Continue reading
