About my blog and About me
This blog is my knee-jerk reaction to what is going on in my life. While I attempt to filter what is said, there are times that I am not successful, so enter at your own risk...and please don't take what you read personally. If you do, then you should probably not read this blog because it's never going to be full of happy walks through fields of daisies.
I grew up and currently live in the Delaware Valley. My heart is torn between Boston, London and Philadelphia, not necessarily in that order every day. I work in the dental field. While I am passionate about teeth, I am more passionate about God and what He's doing throughout the world. Teeth pay the bills, but my love for God wakes me up in the morning and puts me to sleep at night.
I write, tweet, facebook and check in on foursquare. I laugh, make people laugh and make people uncomfortable by saying what they, at times, refuse to face. I am passionate about helping people figure out who they are and find out what success is for them.
I could go on, but then why would you read my blog?

Passionate
I realized something recently. It should have been apparent throughout my life, and I suppose that it has been apparent, but I can put words to it. I am passionate about God. I love people, because He loves people. I … Continue reading
Spring is in the air
This morning, as I was walking to the train, I almost wanted to burst into song. I’m not joking. I decided not to deafen an entire city, but…wow. I felt the kiss of spring on my nose, the warmth of … Continue reading
Fragments of today’s moments
Wow. I just nearly fell off of my chair. Today I had a sweet tooth while Brooke & I were at Starbucks. I got what I thought was the lite alternative sweet…the reduced fat cinnamon swirl coffee cake. On Weightwatchers, … Continue reading
Centre of My Life
Tonight in our small group, we spoke about contentment, as in the way about which Paul speaks about contentment in Phillipians 4. I have to admit. I didn’t leave content with our answers. I know that I cannot find my … Continue reading
What more can I want?
God is funny. I know that HIs ways are above my ways and His thoughts are above my thoughts. I get it. But today…yeah. I went to church, and I was completely uncomfortable. Just not in the rhythm of things, … Continue reading
Season change
I’ve had a song going through my head for the past few days. Yup…yours truly, the self-professed non-musical person has a song going through her head. I’m feeling unsettled. Again. If I were in front of God for a few moments, … Continue reading
Triple venti nonfat raspberry latte
This morning I quipped with my Starbucks barista that I sound like a SNL skit when I order coffee. Yesterday was an interesting day. I finally completed my direct mailer for my boss. It only took two weeks, three if … Continue reading
Freedom of choice
Interesting, reading the Bible. You can read the same passage hundreds of times, and each time the Holy Spirit will illuminate a new part of the passage…a nuance that you did not see the previous 299 times. I believe that … Continue reading
Pruning…& Transfiguration questions
I have to cram all of my writing into the next minute…my goal was to be in bed by 10PM…not by the church’s standard, but by my standard. Oops…I’m already late. I’ve been reading John 15 all week. Today some … Continue reading
Adios 2006
Well, I’m kicking off the new year in style. This afternoon I had real Asian food for lunch. Yummy! I wish I had the guts to say thank you in Mandarin. Not so much. Maybe next time. I watched The … Continue reading
